An Interactive Training Experience
All confirmed registered attendees will have the opportunity to submit bank specific questions based on the topics on the agenda to ensure the training is relevant, actionable and adds value straight out of the gate!
In the morning, we will start with an interactive exercise where we will collectively build a “Community Development Wall” throughout the day filled with industry best practices, aha moments, innovative solutions, and strategies to navigate regulatory change. We will compile and share this work as a follow up to the conference. Plus, you don’t miss the chance to win prizes!
CRA Training will also offer 6 CERP, CFMP, and CRCM credits!
Navigating Regulatory Changes & Community Development Investments
We’ll delve into the latest regulatory changes to the CRA, discuss strategies to finish strong for your next CRA exam and how to build a compliance culture with internal stakeholders to prepare for the implementation of the new regulation while remaining compliant balancing the old and the new regulations.
We’ll then explore the often misunderstood and complex aspects of community development investments, including elements like LIHTCs, MBs, NMTCs and how to properly “perfect” your back-up documentation for examiner review and scrutiny during CRA exams.
After lunch, we’ll dive into community development loans with your bank-specific questions with a facilitated and interactive discussion. You will have the opportunity to submit your most subjective and tricky community development loan scenarios in advance and have the opportunity to vet your approach during the live training discussion with feedback from your CRA peers.
Not Your Average Sit & Listen Conference
To wrap up the day, we will outline strategies to address lending performance gaps touching upon performance context, organic business development and by forging high-impact community partnerships. This session will show you exactly how to identify a lending gap, how to differentiate between internal and external solutions and ultimately how to stay ahead of the examiners to curate your CRA story of impact.
Throughout the day, you’ll have the opportunity to interact and apply concepts, as well as ask bank-specific questions through a variety of interactive segments. This is not your average sit and listen conference – come prepared to engage, learn, and grow!

I could not have made it through this first year as a CRA Officer without Linda and her team! CRA Today has provided not only the knowledge and training I needed, but provided a community of support across the nation that is seasoned in all things CRA. I am so grateful for my relationship with CRA Today and know that with the upcoming expected changes to Fair Lending and CRA, Linda and the CRA Today community will be right there for me to figure it out together!
As a new CRA Officer, I was overwhelmed by the idea of mastering the ins and outs of the CRA. However, after a meeting with Linda, I knew I had found an ally who truly cared about the CRA and wanted me to be successful on my CRA journey. Her training sessions provide me with a strong foundation that spans far beyond the basics of the CRA. I find the training engaging, educational and challenging. As a result, I am confident in my role and excited about what I will accomplish!
I started in this role with very little knowledge of the CRA and the significant role that it plays in guiding our bank’s Community Development efforts. I began searching for training opportunities that were rich in content Linda’s training has equipped me with the knowledge and understanding of the CRA necessary to successfully lead our bank’s CRA/Community Development efforts.
Thanks for all you do Linda!
